In November 2002, a new organization founded in the Toronto area called FIW (Full Impact Wrestling). While it only held three shows during its existence, the promotion is still considered as a breakout haven for a number of its superstars. Ontario wrestlers, JQ Publik, Tracy Brooks, Billy Boogie and more were spotlighted for the first time on the FIW stage.
